Directeur Financier (Senior Finance Manager) H/F

This position can be based either in Martinique or in Guadeloupe

Role Purpose / Position Summary:

- Directs strategic financial forecasting, analysis, and reporting including the identification of risks and opportunities,
- Oversees financial modeling and the assessment and evaluation of alternative financial plans as they relate to the organization's objectives,
- Contributes to corporate financial results through the identification of cost-saving and profit-maximizing opportunities to improve current processes and provide meaningful information to key decision makers,
- Presents budget and forecast recommendations to senior leadership team,
- Supervise seven staff members across three territories (Guadeloupe, Martinique and french guiana),
- Responsible for hiring, coaching, training, and developing subordinate staff,
- Assigns work, sets completion dates, reviews work, and manages performance in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and performance management processes,
- Compliance with internal, external accounting practices and requirements, financial organization and training/development to liaise directly with Country/Regional Financial Management so as to assure accurate, timely financial data and documents,
- Responsible for maintaining statutory books.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Administration or related field,
- Professional certification (preferred),
- Advanced level in French, English (Written & oral),
- 8-10 years' experience in Accounting and Financial Management or related field,
- At least 5 years at the supervisory or management level,
- Strong computer skills, including excel formulas, pivot tables, word processing, PowerPoint presentation, and email applications,
- Strong accounting knowledge in both French GAAP and IFRS regulations,
- Experience in forecasting and budgeting,
- Knowledge of French tax regulation (an asset),
- SAP knowledge (an asset).
